Masako and her sister Deeva came at the same time from New Zealand. They are litter sisters and so different. Masako was named after the current Japanese Princess Masako. Her name suits her. We call her ‘sako’ for short. Masako keeps to herself a lot, loves to sleep under the bed, is playful, but elegant and professional. Does not always join in with the rest and doesn’t always follow her humans around. These are characteristics she has had since coming to our home. Masako loves the dog park, treats, and running. She dislikes any type of grooming device. All one has to do is pull out a brush or comb and she is gone and nowhere to be found. She makes sure her family knows when someone new is around by verbalizing her concern.

Masako had her first litter on 9/2/06, three boys and one girl. She was a wonderful mother and teacher. I don’t know how she kept up with all of them, but she did. The pups are happily with their new families all over the United States.
